Communication & Marketing consults closely with the Executive Board, the faculties and departments to give shape to the university's communication and marketing policy. Working from the university's Strategic Plan and the performance agreements, Communications & Marketing ensures:
- the optimal presentation of the reputation and positioning of Utrecht University within a common corporate profile under the pay off Bright Minds, Better Future;
- a differentiated marketing approach through differences in markets, content and target groups. The guiding principle in student enrolment is a good intake ('A Warm Welcome'), a good progression ('Have a fantastic time here, but don't stay too long') and a good exit ('Celebrate your graduation and find your next step’), aimed at establishing a lasting relationship with your alma mater for the rest of your life;
- efficient and effective cooperation between colleagues, so that we can achieve internally what we promise externally.
