Vorige winnaars Studentenprijs Beste Masterscriptie

De prijs voor de Beste Masterscriptie 2024 is gewonnen door Bilyana Manolova. In haar scriptie onderzocht Bilyana de transitie van de inwoners van Bulgarije, Rusland en Oekraïne van socialisme naar kapitalisme.

Anouk van Veldhoven is de winnaar van de Beste Masterscriptieprijs 2023. Anouk heeft voor haar scriptie meegewerkt en gelezen met een groot team dat huwelijken in Pakistan onderzoekt. Specifiek heeft zij hierbij aandacht besteed aan hoe edutainment de onderlinge relaties in een gezin en familie beïnvloedt en voor minder geweld zorgt.

Chiara Lacroix is de winnaar van de Beste Masterscriptieprijs 2022. Chiara heeft zich gebogen over enorme stapels Engelse en Franse medische literatuur om een patroon te vinden in hoe de mens beschouwd wordt in verhouding tot tijd.

Robin Verstraten won de prijs voor de Beste Masterscriptie 2021. In zijn onderzoek, zoals beschreven in ‘The fractional Langevin equation’, ontdekte Robin Verstraten met nieuwe analytische technieken een nieuwe staat van materie: het Time Glass.

Marrit Woudwijk heeft de prijs voor de Beste Masterscriptie 2020 gewonnen. De scriptie van Marrit Woudwijk sprong er voor de jury direct uit. In haar scriptie “The Lesser Truth: Truth Construction on Remote Warfare and the Case of the US-led anti-ISIS Coalition in Syria” onderzocht Woudwijk hoe Syriërs denken over de oorlog die onder andere Nederland daar voert tegen de Islamitische staat. 

Laureanne Willems is dit jaar de winnaar (master Comparative Literary Studies).

Elizabeth Dirth is dit jaar de winnaar (master Sustainable Development).

Maarten Bransen is dit jaar de winnaar (master Nanomaterials). 

Rick Vreman (winnaar, master Farmacie) met de scriptie "Non-alcoholic fatty liver disease as a mediator of sugar effects; implications for the health and economic benefits of interventions in the US".
Jochem Wijten: Nanomaterials Science. Titel scriptie: Development of Metal-Organic Frameworks for Photocatalytic applications.
Roel Wouters: Medicine. Titel scriptie: Am I my family’s keeper?

Kinanya Pijl (winnaar, Legal Research Master, Recht, Economie, Bestuur en Organisatie) met de scriptie “ICANN and Human Rights. A quest for safeguards to guarantee an Internet based on international human rights”.
Guido van Miert: Theoretische Fysica. Titel scriptie: Tight binding theory of spin-orbit coupling in graphynes.
Kees Mulder: Methodology and Statistics for the Social and Behavioral Sciences. Titel scriptie: Extending Bayesian analysis of circular data to comparison of multiple groups.

Casper Pranger (winnaar, Earth Structure and Dynamics, Geowetenschappen) met de scriptie “Computersimulaties van de hedendaagse subductiedynamiek in de Banda-regio, Zuidoost-Indonesië”.
Katherine Frederick: Modern History, Social and Economic History. Titel scriptie: Global Competition in the Local Marketplace: The Impact of Foreign Cotton Cloth Imports on British West African Cotton Textile Industries During the Pre-Colonial and Colonial Eras.
Marries van de Hoef: Informatica, Game and Media Technology. Titel scriptie: Real-Time Dynamic Radiosity for High Quality Global Illumination
