The physical learning space is (often unnoticed) of great influence in the process of learning. We don’t always consider this when we teach in the rooms we have been allocated. In this SIG we would like to explore how we can create physical learning spaces that properly support the teaching styles and methods. If it was up to us the subject matter and the teaching methods determine what the learning space looks like, not the other way around.
How would these teaching rooms look in the future? Which spatial designs fit small-scale and activating education? We discuss these types of questions to invoke change to the university. Follow this vlog to find out more: https://youtu.be/MUZa7euSQNE
