Advisory Board

The Academic Director is advised on the strategic direction and content activities of the Centre for Academic Teaching and Learning (CAT) by an Advisory Board, consisting of representatives of all faculties and University College Utrecht, and of the Department of Education of the Faculty of Social and Behavioural Sciences because of the strong substantive link. The Advisory Board members ensure joint ownership of the CAT and support within the faculties. They provide advice from their expertise and/or administrative role to ensure the substantive quality of the activities in the three pillars of the CAT. 

Within the Advisory Board, portfolios are divided. These consist of one or more major activities or clusters of activities of the CAT, related to the three pillars of the CAT: teacher development, teaching innovation and educational scholarship. With regard to these portfolios, they have a (pro)active substantive or advisory role.
