UU Centre for Entrepreneurship

The UU Centre for Entrepreneurship (UtrechtCE) is the centre of expertise for entrepreneurial education at the UU and the UMC Utrecht.

Entrepreneurial education is a method rather than a discipline. We learn how to become entrepreneurial by engaging in turning our ideas into action, not by studying how businesses are build. Entrepreneurial learning can help students become more persuasive in their communication or plan and organise their activities in order to reach their objectives. It is also a way for students to become independent: it empowers them to take their future into their own hands.

Teachers can turn to UtrechtCE for help in making their education more entrepreneurial, suitable for their faculty or discipline: course development and improvement, workshops and guest lectures. UtrechtCE stimulates exchange on entrepreneurial learning in higher education with two active teacher communities: the SIG Entrepreneurship Education and the nationwide Entrepreneurial Education Network.
