Technology and Learning (TEL) UMC Utrecht
The department of Technology and Learning (TEL) of UMC Utrecht advises lecturers in designing blended learning and online education. TEL offers IT-tools for this and supports their use. The TEL team also develops e-modules and knowledge clips on behalf of the educational activities of UMC Utrecht, including those of the Faculty of Medicine. Developed products are managed and maintained.
TEL also focuses on educational development. An example of this is the development of VR-pilots for education.
TEL facilitates digital assessment, for university courses as well as the UMC Utrecht Academy, and supports the organization of (UMC wide) webinars.
The educational advisors of TEL provide various training courses as part of teacher development (UTQ). As educational advisors, they are also involved in USO projects.
