I want to log in

You access Yoda using the address that belongs to your research environment. Please note that the address used to connect to the Yoda Network Disk is different from the address of the Yoda web portal.

If you have set up Yoda, you can now log in. On this page you will find an overview of the different institutions that use Yoda. They all have their own Yoda URL to access and log in: one for the web portal and one to connect to the Network Disk.

Two ways of logging in

For the Yoda web portal and the Yoda Network Disk there are different ways of logging in. Note: these URLs are not the same.

  • Web portal: https://leiden-yoda.irods.surfsara.nl is an example of the URL to a Yoda portal. When you click on this link, you will come to the ‘homepage’ of the Yoda web portal of the University of Leiden. To sign into the web portal, you use your regular account credentials (email address and password).

  • Network Drive: to connect to the Network Drive, you use a different URL. In this example it is https://leiden-data.irods.surfsara.nl. With this link you can not only connect to the Network Drive, you can also connect to iBridges or iCommands. To connect to Yoda in these ways, you need to use a Data Access Password that you have to create in the Yoda web portal.

Choose the log in to the web portal or Network Disk of your institution

Is your organisation not listed in this overview and do you want us to add your organisation? Send an email to info.rdm@uu.nl with your request. For questions about Yoda, please contact your own Yoda helpdesk.
