Education and research
The Botanic Gardens in Utrecht have both an indoor tropical collection and an outdoor area full of extraordinary plants. It is one of only three gardens in the Netherlands still linked directly to a university. It is home to research and education, including on biodiversity and ecosystem resilience.
Research unit
With Quantitative Biodiversity Dynamics, we are building essential knowledge on biodiversity and ecosystem services.
Facilities
We provide space and expertise for research and education in our garden and greenhouses.
