Contribute with a regular donation
If you donate an annual amount for a period of at least five years to a foundation registered as an ANBI, you can deduct your donation from your income tax. If you donate a bench, your contribution will go to 'Vrienden Botanische Tuinen'. This is a named fund of the Utrecht University Fund, which is registered as an ANBI.
No threshold income or maximum deductible amount applies to regular donations. Depending on your income, you get up to 40% of the donated amount back. So you can give more for the same amount.
You record the regular donation with a regular donation agreement. Since 2014, a notarial deed is no longer required. Completing and drawing up the regular donation agreement is sufficient.
