In the Gardens we always try to make you look just a little further. You are invited to look, smell and listen for yourself to discover all kinds of nice things about the plant and animal world. In this way every visit is a personal journey of discovery and you can go as far as you like.

      On May 18 it is World Plant Day, also known as Fascination of Plants Day. To mark the occasion, a new outdoor exhibition will open on May 15 in the Insect Meadow of the Botanical Gardens.

      Submit your Aanwaaiers pot of soil and get free access to the Botanic Gardens during the Aanwaaiers Day. Discover what plants have blown in, have your plants examined by one of the researchers, or attend a lecture about the Aanwaaiers project!
