The Faculty of Social and Behavioural Sciences offers outstanding Master’s programmes and PhD programmes in the fields of general social sciences, cultural anthropology, methods and statistics, educational studies, educational theory, psychology, and sociology. These programmes are coordinated by the Graduate School of Social and Behavioural Sciences.

Quality and accreditation
All the Master’s programmes have been accredited by the Accreditation Organisation of the Netherlands and Flanders (NVAO), and undergo periodic internal and external assessments. The PhD programmes are also subject to periodic external assessment as part of regular quality assurance checks carried out by the the Royal Netherlands Academy of Arts and Sciences (KNAW) and Quality Assurance Netherlands Universities (QANU).
