We organize a speed-friending event at the start of each block. This event is only meant for the buddies and the Incluusion students who signed up for Buddy Support.

During this event we will shortly share some information about Buddy Support. But more importantly, you will get a chance to meet each other for the first time. This is a great informal way to get to know each other, and to get a feel for our events.

At the end of the event, you can tell us if you have any preferences about who you want to be matched with, so we can take this into account.

The Incluusion Community is collaborating with Forward·Inc to introduce the Digital Entrepreneurship Skills Program and give a teaser session on creating a business canvas 🚀 

Join Marcel Keyser, Forward·Inc's Dutch Networks Lead & Entrepreneur Support Manager, and Fern Kelly Landry, the DEP Program Coordinator and Incluusion Community Core member, as they guide you through the first steps of getting a business idea down on paper. 

This workshop will be primarily in English, but live Dutch translations are possible.

We’re happy to invite you to the Utrecht Botanical Gardens Tour! Together, we’ll explore the gardnes through a fun game.

Will we share a description of the game beforehand? No! Will there be prizes for the winners? Yes!

After the game, we’ll also enjoy some drinks and snacks together.

Description:

This workshop is organized in partnership with the  Foundation for Active Non-Violence (SVAG), a Dutch non-profit working to promote a culture of peace and non-violence.

The workshop is designed to improve the participants' communication skills in interpersonal conflicts

The workshop facilitators originally come from the Netherlands, Sudan, Yemen, Bosnia and Herzegovina, and Indonesia. They all have received training in non-violent communication methods as part of an ongoing SVAG train-the-trainer program.

Description:

In honor of World Refugee Day, we are planning an interactive workshop for all of you!

The goal of this workshop will be to understand what asylum seekers go through and what the shortcomings of the system are.

After which we will enjoy some food together.
