Collegegeld
Het collegegeld voor dit programma bedraagt € 2.314 in 2023-2024 en € 2.530 in 2024-2025 voor voltijdstudenten (wettelijk tarief).
Uitzonderingen op het wettelijk tarief
In een aantal situaties kan het collegegeldtarief afwijken van het tarief hierboven:
- Als je op of na 1 september 1991 al een master- of doctoraaldiploma in het Nederlands Hoger Onderwijs hebt behaald. Lees meer over de regels.
- Als je voor een gedeelte van het collegejaar staat ingeschreven. Neem contact op met Studentenservice voor meer informatie.
- Als je al collegegeld hebt betaald bij een andere Nederlandse instelling voor hoger onderwijs voor het zelfde collegejaar. Meer informatie.

Beurzen
Tuition fee
The tuition fees for the academic year 2023-2024 are €2,314 and €2,530 for the academic year 2024-2025 for full-time students (statutory fee).
Special circumstances
The tuition fee may differ from the fees mentioned above in a few special circumstances:
- You have already obtained a master's degree or a similar degree from a Dutch institution of higher education. There are a few exceptions to this situation; more information is available here.
- You have enrolled for only part of the academic year. Please contact Student Services for more information.
- You have already paid the statutory tuition fee to another institute of higher education in the Netherlands for the same academic year. You may be eligible for a reduction of the tuition fee at Utrecht University. Please contact Student Services for more information.
Funding your studies
Scholarships, fellowships, and grants offered by Utrecht University, the Dutch government, and other organisations can help fund your studies at the university. Please note that the scholarship options for programmes starting in February are limited. You can begin your search for funding by reviewing the list below, which contains some of the scholarships and loans available to international students.

Tuition fees
The tuition fee for this programme is € 27,969 for the academic year 2023-2024 and € 30,580 for the academic year 2024-2025 (non-EU/EEA institutional fee).
The tuition fee may differ from the fee mentioned above in a few special circumstances*:
- you have Surinamese or Swiss nationality
- you have received a UAF grant (for refugee students in the Netherlands)
- you have met the nationality requirement for a government study grant from DUO
For other students, the required tuition fee might differ from the fee mentioned above if you have enrolled for only part of the academic year. Please contact Student Services for more information.
*Please note that these exceptions only apply if you have not already obtained a master's degree or a similar degree from a Dutch institution of higher education after September 1, 1991. There are a few exceptions to this situation; you can find more information here.
