Collaboration

The Utrecht Center for Game Research stimulates collaboration on relevant research that creates societal impact and innovation. To give you an idea what we are working on now, see our current projects.

Collaborating with us has several benefits:

  1. Excellent researchers in a wide range of game-related topics, from media studies to computer science, with experience in application areas ranging from health and education to security and smart cities.
  2. Utrecht University is ranked as the best research university in the Netherlands (see Shanghai Ranking 2015).
  3. Teaming up allows us to benefit from additional funding opportunities, such as various NWO, STW, and EU programmes.
  4. Gaming is an important theme for Utrecht as a city and region, with many cooperations between knowledge institutes, companies, and local government. Read more

We are always open to new partnerships with other knowledge institutes, societal organisations, and companies. We are interested to hear what the challenges in your organisation are and how they may relate to Game Research. Please feel free to contact us for more information and to discuss forms of collaboration.
