Comproved - Pilot phase - Faculty of Social and Behavioural Sciences

• Students can evaluate assessments quickly, easily and reliably using a comparing tool.
• This enhances the reliability and quality of the evaluation on the one hand, while promoting students’ feedback skills on the other. Comparative evaluation also helps teachers reduce their grading work load.

Rationale - Pilot phase - Geosciences

• Students can draw up reasoning diagrams to help organise their thoughts and formulate a clear line of reasoning.
• This trains students to better structure their arguments. This increases the quality of the argumentation in students’ written work, makes the writing process more effective, and importantly, encourages students to think critically.

PowToon - Pilot phase - Humanities & UMCU

• Lectures and students can create their own animated videos.   
• An animated video can help explain complex issues and transfer knowledge more effectively.

EdPuzzle - University College

• Students and teachers can develop and publish their own knowledge clips.
• They can also use a ‘flipped classroom’. This gives the teacher more insight into the students’ learning process and needs.

BioRender - UMC (Medicine)

• Students have access to clear illustrations of biological processes and biomedical analysis methods. These illustrations can also be created by teachers or students themselves.
• Improved knowledge retention by students through clear supporting illustrations.

Video Fragmented Rating - Faculty of Science (Pharmaceutical Sciences)

• Easily record a video that students and teachers can use to reflect via the application.
• Improve the quality of communication assessments, and the feedback on these assessments

Miro - Several faculties

• Students and teachers can work together on a digital whiteboard.
• Improves interaction and collaboration between students (and teachers)
• Miro processes its primary data outside the EER, so the security of students’ and teachers’ personal data cannot be guaranteed.

GatherTown - Several faculties

• Tool offering a virtual world where students and teachers can walk around, participate in lectures or work together in groups.
