Project Objective.

This project aims to address individual differences among students and their support needs. A feedback portfolio and a database of resources will be used for this purpose. The feedback portfolio consists of an overview of the scores for the different academic skills, based on feedback from peers, the teacher and self-assessments on the different assignments. The resources can be used to improve the various academic skills.

The feedback portfolio and resources were combined in a student dashboard developed specifically for this project. This dashboard is called the F-ACT dashboard. F-ACT collects all the received assessments and feedback conveniently in one place and shows which sub-skills a student scores high and low on. This way the students know what they are doing well and where they need to pay more attention. In addition, F-ACT provides a number of suggestions for resources the students can consult for each sub-skill.
