LA for student competencies
Students need to select the courses they take and shape their academic career by developing specific expertise and skills. Within and across study programs, opportunities are given for students to work on developing these expertise and skills. LA could assist in this development by, for example, providing insight via a dashboard into the extent to which students already possess certain expertise or competencies. The use of such an LA competency dashboard could provide support for various stakeholders in education.
F-ACT - academic writing skills
This project aims to address individual differences between students in academic writing skills and the use of feedback with a feedback portfolio for academic (writing) skills and an Academic Skills Database.
Thermos project
The overall goal is to support students in improving aspects of study behavior by: helping them to assess important aspects of study behavior, to communicate students’ study behavior profile to provide them with insight, and to help them develop through actionable feedback.
