First edition of IT Day well received

On Monday 8 February 2016 the University Hall filled with more than 250 interested people from across the University and beyond.

They came to listen to inspirational talks about IT in education and research, experienced what it is like to step into a virtual world and saw for themselves how a printer printed the University buildings. We look back with pride on a successful first edition of IT Day. 

The feedback we received from visitors was also positive. In answer to a survey we sent to all those who had visited, the inspirational talks received excellent ratings and the day as a whole scored a 7.6 on a scale of 10.
