Opening hours
The Faculty Club is open Monday through Friday between 11 a.m. and 9 p.m. for coffee, lunch and dinner. The Faculty Club is also a great location for group meetings and social get-togethers. Curious about our possibilities? Check out our reservation page.
The Faculty Club will be closed in 2026 on the following dates:
- Thursday 1 January and Friday 2 January – Christmas Holidays
- Thursday 26 March – Dies Natalis Utrecht University
- Friday 3 April – Good Friday
- Monday 6 April – Easter Monday
- Monday 27 April – King’s Day
- Tuesday 5 May – Liberation Day
- Thursday 14 and Friday 15 May – Ascension Day
- Monday 25 May – Whit Monday
- Monday 13 July - Monday 24 August (17:00) – Summer Holidays
- Monday 21 December to Friday 8 January 2027 - Christmas Holidays
Renovation of University Hall 2027 - 2029
From January 2027, the University Hall will temporarily close for renovation. During this period, graduation ceremonies, PhD defenses, inaugural lectures/orations, and other ceremonies will take place at alternative venues.
The Faculty Club will remain open but will temporarily relocate to the University Library in the city center. This will ensure that the Faculty Club can continue offering its familiar activities, even during the renovation.
Catering will be available in a modified form during this time. Some services, such as regular lunches and dinners, may temporarily differ from what you are accustomed to. Keep an eye on our newsletter for further updates.
