Transforming cities community funding
The Transforming Cities community stimulates cutting edge knowledge exchange and collaborations in sustainable urban transformations to advance new ways of thinking as a basis for radical innovation and social change. With this funding we stimulate bottom up initiatives for inter- and transdisciplinary activities in both research and education.
Water Climate and Future Deltas community funding
The Water, Climate and Future Deltas community is a platform for scientists and external stakeholders to jointly work on ensuring resilient, sustainable deltas all over the world. With this funding we stimulate bottom up initiatives for inter- and transdisciplinary activities in both research and education.
Signature Project Grant
The Signature Project Grant is our instrument to spur radical innovation in university practices with the aim of enhancing our impact. Signature Projects are challenge-based, interdisciplinary in nature (preferably cross-community) and directed at fostering the radical innovation that PtS seeks to achieve.
Incubator Grant
The Incubator Grant is the Pathways to Sustainability funding instrument that aims to invest in community building by offering interdisciplinary teams time to collaborate on innovative transdisciplinary ideas. Incubator ideas/teams are preselected before workshopping their ideas at a Kickstarter.
Pathways to Sustainability seed funding: open call 2025
With Pathways to Sustainability seed funding, we aim to stimulate interdisciplinary and transdisciplinary interactions that can 'plant a seed' and contribute to creating impact.
Critical Pathways Community funding
Critical Pathways believes that bottom-up initiatives are crucial in building a community. Therefore, we fund initiatives proposed by members of our community that contribute to the mission and objectives of Critical Pathways.
Science for Sustainability - Community building fund
Science for Sustainability encourages bottom-up initiatives from the community and aims to support these initiatives. Applications for this call for proposals can request small financial support for initiatives like seminars, workshops, symposia, and so on.
Continuing Education Call

Do you aspire to connect your expertise about sustainability to agents of change in practice? Pathways to Sustainability funds Continuing Education initiatives with a budget up to €10,000,-.
