Dr. Ming-Ka Chan
Dr. Chan is an pediatrician and associate professor and the director of Education and Faculty Development at the Department of Pediatrics & Child Health at the University of Manitoba. She has an special interest in competency-based education, leadership development, feedback & assessment and program evaluation in medical education. Over the last few years she has played an important role in the development of leadership education for physicians by co-authoring the Leader Role in 2015. She is the co-editor of the international competency-based resident leadership curriculum Sanokondu. She is the co-chair of the Toronto International Summit on LeadershipEducation for Physicians (TISLEP) and the co-chair of th International Resident Leadership Summit (IRLS).
