The Triple I community of the Utrecht University Strategic Theme Life Sciences brings together the advanced technological infrastructures of the faculties of Science, Medicine, and Veterinary Medicine and connects clinical, biomedical, and life science professionals in Infection biology, Immunology, and Immuno-Oncology.

Our interdisciplinary community connects health care, innovative research and world class academic education, leveraging the strengths of each faculty to address complex challenges in infectious diseases, immune disorders and cancer. As a community, we provide an exceptional platform for knowledge exchange across 3Is and are instrumental in establishing sustainable research, education, and health care infrastructures, strengthening the Life Sciences of the Utrecht University.

Triple I board

The Triple I board is the executive body of the community that oversees the community activities. It is composed by key representatives of the participating institutes and faculties of the Utrecht University. The board is dedicated to organizing scientific and professional development events for the community in Infection Biology, Immunology, and Immuno-Oncology. Other key activities of the board include taking part in the development of policies and infrastructure that drives innovation and excellence for the Life Sciences theme of the Utrecht University.
