Dr. ir. Wilma Steeneveld

Wilma Steeneveld is an Assistant Professor at the Faculty of Veterinary Sciences, department of Farm Animal Health. In her work she focuses on using (sensor) data and other information available at the dairy farm to support dairy farmers in their decision making on health and welfare of their cows. 

After obtaining her PhD at Utrecht University, she left to Wageningen University for her Postdoc research. In that period she received a Veni grant. In 2015 she came back to Utrecht University.

Wilma Steeneveld has been a member of the Utrecht Young Academy, a bridge between young and talented researchers, since 2019.
