The Software Ecosystems Laboratory is engaged with researching the complex networks of software producing organizations that collaboratively serve a market. In particular the lab develops methods, techniques, and tools for the exploration, analysis, and improvement of software ecosystems. Besides this focus, the lab also addresses issues in software production, software entrepreneurship, and strategic management of software ecosystems.
