Dr. Merel van Goch

Merel van Goch is Assistant Professor at the interdisciplinary undergraduate program Liberal Arts and Sciences. Her work is driven by the motivation to provide people with the optimal circumstances to explore and foster their talents and interests. She studies metacognition, curiosity and creativity in (inter)disciplinary higher education, and her teaching is characterised by fostering students’ self-directed learning and self-authorship.
