Liesbeth van de Grift is a Professor of History. She received a Veni grant in 2010 to research internal colonization in Europe between 1918 en 1940. She now focuses on the political representation of nature and environment, as well as civilian involvement in the making of national and European policies.

How have European citizens been represented in policy-making?

Liesbeth van de Grift has been a member of the Utrecht Young Academy, a bridge between young and talented researchers, since 2017.
