Dr. Ayoub Bagheri

Ayoub Bagheri is Assistant Professor of Data Science and Text Mining and Head of the NLP Group in the Department of Methodology and Statistics. He received his PhD from Utrecht University.

He studies advances in natural language processing methods and how they can be applied to the needs of applications. His work focuses on the usability of machine learning models when applied to textual data in health and social sciences, while combining them with explainable AI methods.
