Sharing Days - 5 through 10 June 2023
The Sharing Days will take place from 5 through 10 June. The Sharing Days is a week full of special activities held in inspiring places, during which we share what is happening and possible at the University. Think along with the UMC Utrecht on making healthcare more sustainable, take a poetry walk through the Utrecht city centre or join the online talk on "concentration in times of distraction". About Sharing Days
The Sharing Days are all about meeting, connecting and sharing. During the Sharing Days, we will also focus on increasing the Emergency Fund, which helps students in urgent need. Working on a better world for tomorrow is not done alone; we greatly need the university community to accomplish that!

War, a pandemic, illness, problems at home or simply an accumulation of bad luck… Students sometimes suddenly come face to face with a hard-hitting crisis. How do you make sure you have enough money for living expenses? Who will help you when everything threatens to go wrong?
We use the emergency funds collected by the Utrecht University Fund to support and help students cope with their first urgent financial emergency. We don't want to leave anyone out in the cold. Your donation makes that possible. Will you help us?
Monday till Thursday: Dining at the Faculty Club Enjoy dinner at the living room of Utrecht University: the Faculty Club.
Monday June 5th: Put the ambition ‘to do good’ into action. Many organizations need – and want to – transform to greater sustainability. Along the central concept of asustainable business model, this lecture sensitizes decision-makers to recognize potential for sustainable and digital innovation.- Monday June 5th: Discover continuing education Workshop Transition to animal-free innovation: a sustainability issue.
Tuesday June 6th: International Alumni Talk – Concentration in Times of Distraction Professor Stefan van der Stigchel about concentration and focus. An online event for our international alumni community! Join the live stream.
Wednesday June 7th: Bring Your Own Outdoor Cinema Enjoy 'The Worst Person in the World' under the stars on the UCU campus. The film is in Norwegian, with English subtitles.
Wednesday June 7th - San Francisco alumni network Meet your fellow UU alumni in the Bay Area. After the online presentation of the talk "Concentration in Times of Distraction" by Cognitive Psychology professor Stefan van der Stigchel we'll have some drinks.
Thursday June 8th - Singapore alumni group Meet your fellow UU alumni in Singapore. After the online presentation of the talk "Concentration in Times of Distraction" by Cognitive Psychology professor Stefan van der Stigchel we'll have drinks and pizza.
Friday June 9th: Meet the BioCliVE: experimenting with biodiversity to prevent climate change Learn and contribute to this groundbreaking experiment in the Botanical Gardens.
Friday June 9th: Film Sorry To Bother You Film lovers! This is your chance to see this joyful and disruptive sci-fi film again and talk about it afterwards.
