FAQ about the Sharing Days
Once a year, the UU Alumni Office organizes a week full of activities and events: the Sharing Days. Together with the faculties and other partners such as the University Museum and the University Library, we offer a program packed with knowledge, science, research and culture. We invite all UU alumni to join us.
Spread across various locations in the city center and on the Science Park, you can enjoy plenty of fun activities.
Organized since 2022, Sharing Days replaces University Day.
The next edition of Sharing Days will take place on Thurday June 12 and Friday June 13. On Thursday there will be programs between 17.00 an 22.00 and on Friday between 16.00 and 21.00.
This week is especially for alumni of Utrecht University. You may of course bring your partner, friends or family, they are most welcome.
Very simple: go to the program, make your choice and click on the picture of the event you want to sign up for. You will be redirected to the registration page of the activity.
You can book as many activities as you want. Please note that some activities start at the same time. After signing up you will receive a confirmation email from us.

You certainly can! On Friday there will be an elaborate Italian buffet at the Faculty Club. Soon we will share more info.
Yes, you can. During the Sharing Days we draw attention to our Equal Opportunities scholarship program. With your donations you support the new generation so that we can support even more young people without a financial safety net.
Donating to Equal Opportunities is very easy via the Giving Page.
But you can also become a Friend or Student Friend of the Utrecht University Fund. Or contribute via crowdfunding, donate to a named fund, give money for one of the Passing On projects, bequeath assets by including the University Fund in your will. Want to know more? Check out our site.
Once you have registered, you will automatically receive a confirmation e-mail for each activity. If you cannot make it, you will find a link to unsubscribe in this e-mail.
We would also like to ask you to really do this if you cannot attend, so that someone else can make use of the vacant spot.
If anything changes about an activity you have registered for, we will notify you via email as soon as possible. Also, keep an eye on the Alumni Office's Instagram page for announcements and news: @alumniuu.
Please note that the poetry walk and poetry bike ride will always go on, even if it rains.
Accessibility varies by location. If you have specific questions about the accessibility of an activity, let us know via email: alumni@uu.nl. We will then contact you to discuss it!
The majority of the activities are in Dutch, but there are also activities where the language of instruction is English. This is mentioned in the title and the description of the activity.
Do you doubt whether an activity is suitable for you because of the language? Feel free to send an email to alumni@uu.nl.
We are doing our very best to make it a fantastic festival, filled with interesting and fun activities. If you have any suggestions after your visit, we would of course love to hear them. Send an email to alumni@uu.nl.
