CHIP opened my eyes to the world of museums and art institutions. It allowed me to work closely with one of the Tropenmuseum Curators on the content of an exhibition, whilst also gaining first hand insight into the various other aspects of running a museum such as fundraising and communication. The direct contact with the Tropenmuseum staff members was very inspiring: it enabled me discuss the academic theories I learned in class and put them into practice.
