On March 22, we celebrated the festive opening of the AI Labs at Utrecht University. We welcomed more than 300 guests, including researchers, representatives from public and private sectors and more.
The AI, Digital Culture & Media lab, a collaboration between Utrecht University of Applied Sciences, Utrecht University, the Netherlands Institute for Sound and Vision, Media Perspectives and PublicSpaces, has recently been awarded the NL AIC Label.
This is the third in a series of labs, where scientists from a variety of disciplines collaborate with other experts to address societal challenges with the help of artificial intelligence.
The lab is the ideal facility for young scientists to conduct research into ways that artificial intelligence can support police work over the coming years.
