The IBB is based in the Science Faculty, and participates in the Bachelor’s curriculum Biological Sciences, and in several master and PhD programmes of the Utrecht Graduate School of Life Sciences:
- Master programme Molecular Cellular Life Sciences
- Master programme Cancer Genomics Developmental Biology
- Master programme Bioinformatics and Biocomplexity
- Master classes on Cell Biology, Developmental Biology, and Systems Biology.
- Graduate programs of the Graduate School of Life Sciences
- Combined QBio honours programme in the natural and life sciences
Biotechnology Student Research Hub
The biotech hub is primarily dedicated to bachelor students who are fascinated by research and want to experience working as a team in a state-of-the-art biotechnology laboratory, experiencing research in the most realistic format, from brainstorming, drafting research questions, developing ideas, and making plans, to conducting experiments, analyzing data, and writing a report in article style.
As early as the undergraduate phase, students can learn by experiencing research in the most realistic environment. For this, bachelor research projects are developed together with researchers located throughout the Utrecht Science Park. Also at the master level, this laboratory provides an opportunity for experimental work in master courses.
