Organisation

The IBB (Institute of Biodynamics and Biocomplexity) and the IEB (Institute of Environmental Biology) together form the Department of Biology at the Utrecht University Faculty of Science. Research at the IBB spans a wide range of topics and is organized into three research divisions. The IBB comprises independent research groups led by faculty at junior (Assistant Professor) and senior (Associate Professor and Professor) levels.

Facilities

The institute houses four core facilities: the Biology Imaging Center, the Nanobody Platform, the UU Large Particle Flow Cytometry facility, and Protein Interactions and Network Analysis. These facilities provide cutting edge services to IBB staff and students as well as research partners within and outside Utrecht University.
