Second edition of alumni email newsletter published
This spring, our university started an email newsletter for alumni. With more up-to-date messages, the e-mail newsletter supplements the background information and stories that we have been sharing with the alumni community for twenty-five years via alumni magazine Illuster. The English version of the newsletter is published on our website.
Five questions for Anton Pijpers
One of the items in the newsletter is the - recurring - video section “Five questions for Anton Pijpers”, shown below. This time, our President of the Executive Board will talk about how corona accelerates educational innovation, for both students and professionals. Furthermore, we pay attention to the alumni anniversary project "Alumni about tomorrow" and we tip alumni for interesting events they can attend.
Preference for e-mail newsletter
The majority of our alumni (57%) prefer to stay informed about the ups and downs at "their" university via an email newsletter, according to the latest alumni survey. 37% of the alumni prefers alumni magazine Illuster. We therefore hope to meet a need with the alumni e-mail newsletter. The newsletter offers, among other things, current news from the university, shows the possibilities for further development at UU and highlights events for alumni. The newsletter appears a maximum of six times a year and you can always unsubscribe.
Alumni
Our university is proud of all its graduates and therefore invests in involving and connecting alumni with the university and with each other. For example via alumni magazine Illuster, alumni events at home and abroad and by collaborating with alumni in education and research. More and more alumni are also choosing to follow education again at their alma mater through the Continuing Education program.
