N.W. Posthumus Institute moves to Utrecht

As of 1 July 2021, the N.W. Posthumus Institute will be hosted at Utrecht University, Research Group Economic and Social History, Department of History & Art History. 

New staff

The quinquennial change of N.W. Posthumus Institute’s home seat also means a change of staff: Jessica Dijkman as new Scientific Director, Rogier van Kooten as new Educational Director (per 1 September), and René van Weeren as the new Office Manager of the N.W. Posthumus Institute. The new staff will be based within the Research Group Economic and Social History, Department of History & Art History of Utrecht University and can be reached via posthumus@uu.nl.

N.W. Posthumus Instituut

The N.W. Posthumus Institute is a Research School for Economic and Social History in the Netherlands and Flanders, and is a cooperation between fifteen universities and research institutes. Ever since 1988, the N.W. Posthumus Institute promotes innovative and advanced interdisciplinary research in economic and social history by stimulating joint research programmes of participating institutes. Next to a PhD training in Economic and Social History, the N.W. Posthumus Institute also provides a programme for Research Master students.
