The poverty trap

Sustainable Development Goal number one is to eradicate poverty. But how can that be achieved?

Often they haven't got the means for proper education and thus have less opportunities to work. This troublesome situation is then carried on to the next generation. Are poor people doomed to stay poor? Dr Julia Swart thinks there is a way out.
