Step 3: Join a matching day

Utrecht University believes it is important that you choose a degree programme that suits you. That is why matching is an obligatory part of your enrolment. This way you and the programme can find out if you are a good match. The matching is not binding; ultimately, you decide whether you want to start the study programme or not.

Note: if you live abroad or on Aruba, Bonaire, Curaçao, St. Eustatius or St. Maarten, participation in matching is not compulsory. Contact us if you do want to participate in the matching. You can do this by emailing matching.use@uu.nl.

What does our matching process look like?

The matching process may vary depending on the programme. Below, you can find details about how the matching process for this programme is structured.

When does the matching take place?

You can participate in one of the matching days on:

  • 17 April 2025
  • 5 June 2025
  • 26 June 2025

Please note! There is a maximum capacity for 5 June and 26 June. Once this capacity is reached for either of these dates, the option to select that day for matching will no longer be available. Therefore, please complete the matching form as soon as possible. You will receive an invitation for the matching day of your choice and access to the study materials at least two weeks in advance.
