Interventions

What can be done to promote healthy development, avoid problems (prevention) and deal with them (treatment)?

Our department carries out research into a range of interventions targeted at children (Stay Cool Kids! , D(o)epressie, D(o)epressie blended, ACT), parents (Cool Little Kids), families (Homestart, MST, ACT your way) or school (Rock and Water). These interventions aim to treat either internalising behaviour such as anxiety or depression, or externalising behaviour such as aggression and bullying. In addition, our department investigates the effectiveness of forensic youth interventions.
