Research on Socio-Neuro-Biological determinants of Health Risk Behavior of adolescents
On 5 November Derrick Ssewanyana presented his research on Socio-Neuro-Biological determinants of Health Risk Behavior of adolescents within an HIV context in Sub Sahara Africa.
Derrick works in Kilifi, Kenya, with his supervisors prof Amina Abubakar and Prof Charles Newton. Currently he is visiting the department of Clinical Child and Family Studies for two months in order to finish his dissertation under supervision of prof Anneloes van Baar. His interesting findings may benefit adolescents in SSA through further research and intervention programs.
