This month, Joep Lindeman and UYA member Sanli Faez discuss how the concept of ‘facts’ is used in different contexts and disciplines. Joep is an associate professor in criminal law and criminal procedure. His research-focus lies on Criminal Procedure and judicial organisation, both in the Netherlands and abroad. However, his interest also lies in Substantive criminal law, White Collar Crime, and European Criminal Law. Sanli is an assistant professor at the nanophotonics section of Debye institute for nanomaterials science.
