How do you make sure that good research by students doesn’t disappear into the archives?
Papers and theses by UU students are archived and retained. Apart from this, not much is done with interesting research results. A platform has therefore been set up to share ideas about ways to reuse student research.
Platform with examples
Hanne ten Berge (educational advisor at Educational Development & Training) is one of the platform developers. Hanne explains, ‘The platform is intended as a resource for lecturers and students so that they themselves can see how they can get more out of student research. In line with this, the platform contains many examples, such as material for informing patient groups, or students who published their thesis in collaboration with their supervisor.’
