Fundraising campaign for newly established UCU Fund about to start

A Liberal Arts & Sciences vision of education only thrives if the student population represents a wide variety of cultural and socio-economic backgrounds. In its 20 years of existence, University College Utrecht has enabled more than 300 students from all walks of life to study at UCU with the support of a scholarship.

With the establishment of the UCU Fundearlier his year, our fundraising and scholarship procedures have become more professional and transparent.

The UCU Fund is a Named Fund under the umbrella of the Utrecht University Fund. The UCU fund comprises all of UCU’s scholarship and fundraising activities, such as the UCU Scholarships and the Rosemary Orr Scholarship. The UCU Fund aims to preserve and foster the vibrant and diverse nature of our campus by providing financial support to students who would otherwise not be able to afford an education at UCU.

This fall we will start a campaign amongst alumni, staff, students and other friends of UCU to raise money for the UCU Fund, both on- and offline. Will you help us secure the diversity of our campus in the future? Donate now to the UCU Fund. Your contribution will have a direct positive impact on the life of all UCU students.

Good to know: the UCU Fund holds the ANBI status (a tax regime for not-for-profit and charitable activities), with means that your gift is deductible from your Dutch income tax or corporate income tax.
