What is needed to stimulate responsible behaviour in research groups and what competences and capacities are required of those entering the field of research? Prof. Michael Kalichman (San Diego, US), expert in research integrity education will give a lecture on fostering a positive research culture in academia.

Kalichman will draw upon a long experience in developing, teaching and research on RCR (Responsible Conduct of Research) education. The lecture and following discussion will be interesting for all who teach research integrity and/or are working as supervising researchers on projects.

Integrity Thursdays

Integrity Thursdays are meant to stimulate the debate on integrity issues in a creative manner, among students and researchers as well as other interested people. The thursdays are organised by the Descartes Centre, the Ethics Institute and the Freudenthal Institute.

This lecture is co-organised by the Netherlands Research Integrity Network (NRIN).
