Start of the Academic Year 2020-2021
We start the new Academic Year with a special combination of physical and online meetings. The situation requires adaptability. And so we display it - as we all have been doing since the start of the COVID19 epidemic. That suits who we are, and what we express with today's theme:
"A world class university with a heart - in times of Corona".
We have spread the program components in our University Hall throughout the day. After all, we want to make many meetings possible, but we adhere to the guidelines of the RIVM (National Institute for Public Health and the Environment). We will reflect on what the situation requires of us, and we will honor students, teachers and researchers. People who have delivered special achievements, either substantively, or to bring and keep the UU community together.
We conclude the day with a college tour in TivoliVredenburg, in which students question the coronavirus envoy of our country - and alumnus of UU.
