The European Pharmacoepidemiology and Pharmacovigilance (EU PE&PV) Research Network conducts research projects on the real-world effectiveness and safety of medicines and the impact of medicines' regulatory interventions. The network brings together more than 50 research centers in 21 European countries.
EU PE&PV is a public academic partnership coordinated by the Division of Pharmacoepidemiology & Clinical Pharmacology at the Utrecht Institute for Pharmaceutical Sciences (UIPS), Utrecht University. Leadership for the consortium is provided by eight renowned research centers. Since its inception in 2015, the network has completed 12 projects spanning various therapeutic areas. EU PE&PV and all its projects are registered in the HMA-EMA Catalogues of real-world data sources and studies.
