Approximately 60,000 people travel to Utrecht Science Park on a daily basis, while only around 2,000 actually live there. This means that many commuters travel to and from the site every day, which generates traffic predominantly during the morning and evening rush hours. Traffic is particularly heavy on the cycle route through Utrecht Oost, on the bus connection with Utrecht Central Station and on the motorway links, especially the junction connecting to the national motorway network (A28, exit 2). It is advisable to travel outside peak hours if at all possible in order to make optimum use of the transport infrastructure, which is ample outside these times.
On www.usp-bereikbaar.nl (in Dutch) it is easy to identify the different routes and travel options.
