Symposium on the continental shelf

Alex Oude Elferink participated in the 4th International Symposium on the Law of the Sea in Tokyo on 14 and 15 December 2017. The symposium was organized by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Japan and the National Ocean Policy Secretariat.

He acted as a commentator on the presentation Achievements in the delimitation of the continental shelf beyond 200 M by Larry Martin and gave a presentation entitled Outer limits of the continental shelf beyond 200 M – Baselines and para. 5(a) to the Rules of Procedure of the CLCS.
