Research IT innovation fund selects nine proposals

Utrecht University’s fund for IT innovation in research selected nine proposals. The research fund provides start-up capital for researchers of Utrecht University with innovative ideas in the field of IT and research. The selected researcher receives a modest sum to implement his or her idea in a project pilot and will also receive an IT contact to support the researcher with technical issues.

High quality

The Advisory Council of the Research IT innovation programme selected the best proposals. All 47 proposals received were evaluated based on the degree to which they envisioned a new and innovative use of IT in research. The applications were of high quality and came in from all faculties.
