The Centre for the Humanities started a collaboration with HKU and theatre Aluin to explore the relevance of the classical texts for contemporary society. The 'Permanence of the Classics' programme, which this year focuses on the 'The Suppliants' by Euripides, brings together students from HKU Theatre and UU (philosophy and the classics) to engage with this famous text and showcase its continuing relevance through contemporary artistic practices.
