Kees van den Bos elected Psychology Lecturer of the Year

Scientists involved in the Security in Open Societies HUB often do research as well as provide education. Core team member Kees van den Bos has been elected Psychology Lecturer of the Year 2018 by the students of the Department of Psychology of Utrecht University.

According to the students, Van den Bos is a passionate lecturer who is good at explaining difficult subjects in an entertaining way, often by using very effective examples.

“I am happy that students are enjoying my lectures. I feel that educating the leaders of tomorrow is important and very rewarding,” said Van den Bos. Van den Bos teaches both at the Faculty of Social and Behavioral Sciences and at the Faculty of Law, Economics and Governance. He received the Psychology Lecturer of the Year award for the third time in his career.
